I'm Shanu Srivastava, and my job is to make sure you walk away from this process feeling informed, confident, and certain that you made the right decision — not pressured into one you're still second-guessing a week later.
My background is different from most agents you'll meet. Before real estate, I spent years in technology as a database administrator and consultant — which means I think in data, process, and outcomes. When I evaluate a home, a market, or an offer, I'm not going on gut instinct. I'm running the numbers, reading the market, and making sure you understand exactly what you're looking at before you sign anything.
I've been a real estate investor since 2002 and a licensed agent since 2009. I've completed nearly 100 short sales and distressed property transactions — some of the most complex, high-stakes situations this business produces. That experience means I've seen harder than most clients' situations, and I know how to find a path forward when things get complicated.
What that means for you is simple: whether you're buying your first home, relocating to Maryland, downsizing after the kids have moved out, or trying to sell a home in a difficult situation — you'll have someone in your corner who understands every angle of this transaction and will tell you the truth, even when it's not what you were hoping to hear.
I don't believe in artificial urgency. I don't push clients toward decisions they're not ready to make. I once spent a full year helping a couple find a home they could both agree on. The commission was never going to be worth the hours. I did it anyway. That's how I work.
